92G2: Bocci V., Medical Hypotheses, 1992 Sep, 39(1):30-4.,
"Ozonization of blood for the therapy of viral diseases and
immunodeficiencies. A Hypothesis."
Abstr: Bocci 1992 calls for investigation of his methodology
by biologists and clinicians. "Once this is done, owing to the
large range of medical applications and the simplicity of the
procedure, autohemotherapy could become very valuable
particularly in underdeveloped countries."[Medline] "If
autohemotherapy can be understood on a scientific basis, it may
become an acceptable practice in orthodox medicine".[Bocci]
Bocci lists a number of viral diseases that may benefit from
so-called "major autohemotherapy" [intravenous reinjection, after
exposure to ozone], including viral hepatitis; herpes simplex,
zoster, labialis and genitalis; papillomavirus;
respiratory diseases; CFS; common cold; AIDS, etc. He does not
discuss the exhaustive body of literature disussing extravascular
autohemotherapy, which practice he briefly refers to as "minor"
autohemotherapy.
