autohemotherapy, in 20 patients of which were hospitalized
dermatology patients, and suggested that the mechanism of action
may be stimulation of the adrenal cortex. Frandsen and Samsoe-
Jensen, however, in a subsequent study of 16 dermatology
patients, found no evidence of adreno-cortical stimulation.
