AUTOHEMOTHERAPY, EFFECTS ON THE BLOOD - 25H1 Schamberg and Brown [25H1] withdrew 20cc of blood from the vein, and immediately reinjected it into the gluteal muscles, in 5 patitnts (3 psoriasis and 2 generalized pruritis) in order to assess the effect of these injections on the serum enzymes. The summary result: "The intramuscular injection of freshly drawn autoblood appears to stimulate an increase in the lipolytic and proteolytic activity of the blood serum."
