those who have employed it, is that the method is entirely
without danger and usually without systemic reaction. ... "
Lemann p. 296-7 summarizes results of his and 28 other
investigators, involving a total of 309 cases, mostly tuberculous
pleurisies, of which 232 were considered successes, and 75 were
listed as failures.
